UFC Fight Night: Dern vs. Ribas 2

We are gearing up for the first ufc event of the year, and the main event will be hosted by Mackenzie Dern and Amanda Ribas 2. Their last meeting was in October of 2019, where Amanda won in a unanimous decision. Since that bout, she has only lost four times, with two of those losses coming in back to back bouts. Because of that, Amanda Ribas opens up as a -200 favorite, and will look to use her judo background to go back-to-back against the fan favorite Mackenzie Dern. Other notable fighters on this card include Santiago Ponzinibbio, Chris Curtis, Thiago Moses, and Bruno Lopes. With this being the first UFC event of the year, I’m sure that the fighters will come out swinging to try to outshine such a historic 2024 in terms of viewership and PPV gates. following the event, there will be a ‘key takeaways’ article where we will break down the biggest things to take away from the event as we move closer towards the first PPV event of the year.
